Introduction
Join IBM as a Customer Success Manager (CSM) Intern focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and help clients maximize the value of their AI products while increasing the adoption of next-gen technologies. This summer 2025 internship is for undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about combining technical knowledge with strong people skills to craft technical solutions and collaborate with clients, partners, and colleagues to address technical and business challenges.

**Role and Responsibilities**
As a CSM AI Intern at IBM, you’ll bring a unique blend of people skills, data science, generative AI, and large language models expertise. You will:

– **Understand Client’s Data and AI Challenges**: Establish trust as a technical expert in AI and Hybrid Cloud solutions by understanding clients’ primary challenges with data and AI.
– **Facilitate Use Case Exploration**: Lead workshops to explore use cases and frame business opportunities, developing client value realization models.
– **Develop AI Solutions**: Leverage your data and AI engineering skills (particularly in Python, open-source frameworks, RedHat, and IBM watsonx) to build MVPs.
– **Lead Technical Conversations**: Engage clients in persuasive technical discussions to motivate actions based on their needs and the value of IBM’s solutions.
– **Create Customer Success Plans**: Develop plans to increase active user adoption of IBM’s products post-deployment.

You will gain credibility with both customers and IBM colleagues by combining technical expertise with a consultative approach, guiding enterprise clients to expand their AI usage.

**Location & Travel**
This position is based at one of IBM’s offices in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, New York, NY, Raleigh, NC, San Francisco, CA, and Washington, DC. Readiness to travel may be required.
